Accessibility of the Travelturisme Website
In Travelturisme.com we are working to facilitate accessible contents to all the citizens. This website fulfils the criteria of accessibility of double "A" level and it has been designed and programmed according the standards established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) and the directives of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiate) fulfilling the formal standards of XHTML and CSS.
Besides, a series of requirements have been considered, like:
- The elements appear according to a logical order.
- The images appear with alternative descriptive text.
- It is possible to access to the main options through access keys short cuts.
- We have looked for alternatives for those navigators that do not allow Javascript.
- All the charts contain the necessary code so they can be read on line and they can be correctly interpreted.
Keyboard Shortcuts
We have made a series of combinations with the keys of the keyboard to be able to access to the main options of the site with a short cut, facilitating therefore the navigation for those users who use keys as a way of navigation.
